I need to add an Ultra320 SCSI hard drive to my ML350 G2 server and noticed the price difference between a hot swappable and internal is 2X. I have an old hotswappable hard drive enclosure and was hoping to be able to just use the internal hard drive and save dollars. Is there any differnce between the actual hard drives other than the enclosure? I've researched the connector and they both use the 80pin Centronix SCA-2.
P.S. This thread has been moved from Disk to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). -HP Forum Moderator
