I need to install a dual ported 10GbE card into DL380G5 servers. I ordered an NC522SFP as it was supported in DL380G5 (Quickspecs for NC522SFP). I was shipped an NC523. This is not supported in DL380G5 (Quickspecs for NC523). Both are PCI-e Gen 2.
Can I use the NC523 in place of an NC522? My OS is M$ Windows 2008 R2. Or should I push back for the NC522SFP? We ordered 20+ NIC cards, so it's not chump change....
Both are QLogic cards....
