does anybody know why the HP NC552SFP Emulex 10GbE NIC does not seem to be compatible with DL380 G6 servers?

According to the Quick Specs it however is compatible with other G6 servers such as DL180 and DL320.
The previous model HP NC550SFP is listed as compatible with the HP DL380G6 and as far as I know the only difference between the cards is the generation of the Emulex chip.
