Recently, i purchase an HP SC11Xe HBA
to provides support for tape drives and communicate with the ultrium 448 G2 Tape autoloader.
However my server (DL180 G5) still unable to detect the card, even i install the driver.
The server runs Linux CentOS 5.3. I've seen the card compatibility "http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=125&prodSeriesId=3191201&prodTypeId=329290&objectID=c00777216"
and the DL180 G5 does not figure in the list of supported servers but i believe that there are a way to make the adapter working.
Please can you help me with this,
