I have an old HP ML350 G3 that has a cooked motherboard. I'm looking at replacing it but was wondering whether I could slot a ML350 G4p motherboard in their instead? I noticed that one of the two power connectors on the G4p has 20 pins versus the G3's 16 pins, though they seem to line up. What are the extra pins and are they necessary?
If this is not possible, could I just replace the two power supplies and the psu backplane?
