I'm wanting to upgrade the smart array controller in our DL380 G8 server with a newer P440 with a 4GB FBWC. I have already purchased the cable kit that has adapter SAS cables and a battery cable. However, the Smart Battery connector is different on the P440 and obsiously doesn't plug directly into the G8 mainboard because it doesn't have a smartbattery. Is there a special battery I can plug directly into the controller or a proper adapter cable?
