I was created two separated raid areas(RAID 1+0). On one of the area has gone HDD. I need support how to change HDD and rebuild Raid 1+0 on this area is OS.

I am new to HP blade servers, Please do help me with videos and documents so that i can understand the enclosrures, OnBoard Administrator, ILO and how connectivity is given and also the installation, wht to check for logs in OA. please guide me as my new company has 50 plus enclosures and i am new to this hp technology.
I hope this is correct forum. I have a PROLIANT ML350 G5 that I am working with as a TEST Server. I installed SERVER 2012 and downloaded some drivers from HP site on Tuesday of this week. I am continuing install and searched all over HP's site for the the source. It is gone today!!! I am searching for a BIOS Flash Update.
Can anybody here help a brother out??

Hope you all are going well.
I have added 2 new fans into a DL380 G6 but I'm getting "Fan Failure" message on the start up then the server shuts down after 5 seconds. However these two fans are running on a high speed since I switch on the server. Also I have two another fans installed in this same server which appear to be running without any problems. I have tried to change the fan slots but the failure warning follows the position of the new fans always.
Installed fan position:
slot #1 current fan 1
slot #2 current fan 2
slot #3 new fan 1
slot #4 new fan 2
slot #5 blank
slot #6 blank
For information this server has just one processor and one PSU on.
I have erased all system configuration settings through the switch position 6 on the system maintenance in attemping to fix this issue but no luck so far.
As this server isn't a production one, I would be okay bypassing the fan testing as workaround once those 4 fans are running in fact and the server itself seems to be quite cool. I would just find another way to be monitoring the temperature just in case.

We have a two HP G6 servers and both of them are not powering up. I have checked the power supplies by pluggin them to a working server and they are working.
The faulty severs front panel LEDs are not lighting up and there is no indication in the power supply LED.
I have tried with different power cables, power sources and still no luck.
What could be the problem ?
Using SSH into a iLO2 device, I can setup almost everything including my Directory Authenication. However I cannot find where to set the custom groups. I cannot see it in /map1 or /system1 anywhere. This includes looking on a system that I manually configured via the web UI.
Looking on a iLO3 system I see the following available

It appears that the iLO3 targets are not valid on iLO2., so where does the customgroup1 get saved at on the iLO2?
I have an HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 server. NOS is Windows 2008 R2 ENT.
Install is an HP Smart Array P420i (BBWC enabled)
SAS Array A - Not in question - This array has the System Volume and an additional (Data) volume.
SAS Array B is the one in question.
Physically, SAS Array B has (6) 300GB SAS drives installed. (See attached)
Logically, the server has (2) RAID 5 containers. (See attached)
We want to upgrade the (6) 300GB SAS drives with (6) 600GB SAS drives. I've performed this activity multiple times with RAID 1 cintainers. I'm not sure if this is possible with a RAID5 container. Not to mention this server has (2) RAID5 containers on the same SAS Array.

Does the iLO have the ability to remotely create logical drives and arrays in a programmable/scriptable way? I.E. via cli, powershell, etc.
I am already familiar with how to use the Smart Storage Administrator remotely via hpssacli to configure logical drives, but would like to know if this can be done via the iLO as well without using SSA.

I have 3 old dl servers (dl140 g3, dl160 g5 and dl360 g5) need to update the bios/rom for cpu or memory upgrade. I try to download the latest bios from the hpe site but they are all restricted and the web keeps saying I need to link the warranties or service agreement to download. I don't have any warranties or services agreement of these old servers but I do have their S/N attached to the servers. The other venders such as Dell, Acer can download the latest server bios freely. How can I download the lates bios/rom? Anyone can kindly share them out?

I feel frustrated about setting this, because I have searching for this unified solution for more than a month and didn’t find proper solution.
I’ve got a task to configure raid health to notify on email. I have more than 10 HP Server running windows/linux/esxi servers that I need to do this on, but didn’t find simple solution.
All I discovered so far is that I can do this with HP SIM of thought ILO3-4, but I think installing a SIM is a little bit overkill for one server per site, and I also have some old server with 1 or 2GB or ram, not to mention they do not have ILO 3.
Can anyone suggest me how can I do this?
The dl360 Gen9 seems to be the first generation that introduces a time zone in the BIOS, in addition to the traditional time and date. The default time zone is UTC. This has created a problem for us, because Server 2012 R2 keeps resetting the time by 6 hours, erroneously thinking that the BIOS clock is in local time rather than UTC. I have found a fix for that with Windows (here if anyone is interested, under RealTimeIsUniversal).
However, I would like to make sure that a server's BIOS time zone is in fact always set to the UTC time zone. This needs to be done programmatically on dozens of servers, therefore using Conrep. But when I do a dump of every setting with Conrep, the time zone is not there. Thus we have a BIOS setting with no way of programmatically checking or changing it via Conrep. Can someone from HP comment on this? Will there be a fix out for this? Is there another way to check or set the BIOS time zone?

I Buyed me a Hp ProLiant ML10 v2 Server and will install Win Server 2012 R2 Essential in UEFI Mode.
I have 2 x 3 TB HDDs wich i will set in RAID 1 with the B120i RAID-Controller.
I found out so far, that to make the RAID 1 Array need to boot from HP SSA Disk. So far ok, make it.
But the Server start only in Legacy Mode - no EFI no UEFI. So the disk are in MBR what is completely useles for 3TB Disk.
Is it possible that ML10 has no UEFI BIOS?! In Year 2015?!
If i'm wrong (i hope), is there someon how know where in BIOS are the settings to switch in UEFI-Mode or... how to change the mode otherwise?

I have an issue with 20x ProLiant DL380p Gen8 servers. These servers are part of HP Vertica cluster. All servers are running on power performance mode.

Is it the same? I guess it is not firmware, because if it's firmware, they call it like this: "Tape Firmware"

Is it a new BIOS?
3) Firmware Upgrade Utility for Windows Server x64
This obviosly is not firmware, but a utility. What do you do with it after setting it up?
4) HP Lights-Out Configuration Utility
And what's a configuration utility?

And this one?
7) HP Intelligent Provisioning Online Update
Is this an online update of all the programs, firmware and drivers IP consists of (it always crashes my server if I execute this "IP Online Update")?

I have a HP ProLiant DL100 G2 Storage Server.
It has 4 x HDD's, each 150gb capacity.
When I got the server the 4 HDD's had been "erased", using a utility called dBan. The 4 HDD's had also been taken out, and placed back into the server. I do not know if they were replaced into their ORIGINAL bays.
Now, when the server boots, POST reveals "Array Found", and it shows each of the 4 HDD's, with the correct capacity of 150gb each.
Popped in Window 10 install CD, and selected to do fresh / raw (as opposed to upgrade install) install of Windows 10, but when it got to the point of asking where / which HDD to install to, it said No drive(s) found, and prompts for a HDD (Raid ??) Device Driver. I downloaded a few different ProLiant DL100 G2 produce recovery dvd's etc etc, but no luck.
Tried to install VMWare, but same deal..........no drives found,,,,,,,,,,,please insert device driver CD.
Can anyone, please, advise of where I can download (URL ??) the HDD (RAID ??) device drivers for this particular model of server ?, so that I can get either Win 10 or VMWare installed, and up and running ?.

I have a HP ProLiant ML150 G6 Server I want to sell, but I am not sure how much it might be worth and was wondering if you could give me some advice, please.
The server is in good condition and works fine.
One of the chassis fans is missing all it's blades and is a bit wonky. That does not affect the functionality and I never had problems with it getting too hot.

Im using a Proliant DL380e Gen8 server. I'm looking to query the iLO console using REST Api. I keep getting a 400 error.

Im on a redhat linux 6.5 box. How can I get the correct JSON response?
Also is there a command line scripting tool that I can use to query iLO4 console remotely? The hponcfg ulitity requires me to be on the local machine.
