Hello,
We have 3 Servers (DL380) running VMWare ESXi 5.5 in a cluster and vCenter on a seperate physical host.
Next to that we have 3 HP UPS's (RT3000 G2) which are connected to those 3 Servers. Each server has a power supply connected to 2 of the UPS's.
The Physical host (vCenter) is also connected to 2 of the UPS's.
I connect the 3 UPS's to the vCenter host by UPS, but the HP Power Protector Soft only allows 1 UPS to be attached.
What would be the best setup to shutdown my servers (and virtual machines) in case of a power failure?
On the internet I read different options, but most of them are using only 1 UPS.
Can someone please clarrify this to me?
Best regards.
Kurt
