Greetings all. I have an ML330 I'm using in a test environment. It has no array controller or Compaq SCSI drives in it at the moment.
I'd like to add an inexpensive array controller and three drives. I was wondering if I can safely purchase hot-plug versions of a U320 or Ultra3 drive and remove it from the carrier using it as a non hot-plug?
Are there any critical differences between the Compaq hot plug and non hot-plug drives?
