HP DL180G6 and NC523 SFP 10GB Card

Hi,

I am using a HP Proliant DL180G6 and want to add a 10GB NIC to the machine.

The quickspecs of the NC523 lists the DL180G6 as a supported hardware

But when the NC523 NIC is installed the server hangs while booting.

I can see the BIOS of the NIC starting, but it does not report the Ports.

The card itself is fine as I can install it to a ML110 G7 or an ML350G6 and it works fine.

I tried it with two different DL180G6 and both behave the same way.

I even upgraded and downgraded the BIOS of the server but the behavior does not change.

Any Ideas what I can do?

I tried to downgrade the NIC but I was not successful, any ideas how it can be done?
