I am installing win 2000 on my DL580 G3 with four SCSI drives. I get to the F6 part but don't have the file required. Can anyone tell me the software needed? I don't have an A drive either. I assume the CD drive will do.

How to install Ubuntu on Proliant ML30
I have just purchased a Prolian ML30 and wish to install Ubuntu Linux.
How can I get the drivers. They don't appear on the support site. the support site referencing other "flavours" of linux.
I tried an install anyway since it has previously worked out of the box on another server I purchased (M50GEN9) but for the ML30 GEN9 installation fails and drops to a grub prompt.

No physical disks attached in Intelligent Provisioning ML150 GEN9
Hello,
I have a Proliant ML150 Gen9 with a single Intel DC P3500 PCIe SSD installed in the top PCIe slot. When I go into HPE SSA, the Intel SSD is listed under "Other Devices"
When I attempt to "Configure and Install" in Intelligent Provisiong I get the error "No physical disks attached - you will need to attach a supported drive to continue"
I took the P3500 out and stuck it in my Win10 workstation and updated to the latest firmware from Intel's Data Center tool, and I get the same results when placing it back in the Proliant Server. I also updated all the firmware options in "Firmware Update" in Intelligent Provisioning as well, current system rom installed version: P95 v 2.30 (09/12/2016).
Anyone have any ideas of what is wrong that I can't install an OS to the PCIe SSD? Thanks in advance!

Adding additional HDD cages
I wanna know the best practice for following scenarios,
Assumptions : P440/2G ar is the default controller / server is DL380 / the disks installing in the 2sff cage is SATA SSD.
8SFF server + adding 2sff cage >> what storage controller to use with the P440/2G?
We can use B140i / 12G sasa expander / or replace P440 with P840 / going with H240
I want to know the most cost effective and reliable option.
I saw a link which says there will be issues when using B140i iwth another controller

problem installing latest Smart Storage Administator
I have a dl380 G7 which When i install the latest Smart storage administrator (2.60.18.0) it installs fine, but when i try to run it get the following error
"The Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) cannot execute in this browser environment.

So I am still running i.e. 8 on this server, so i tried to install 9, but the only offline installer i can find keeps saying its not the correct o/s and i'm running windows 2008 r2 (64) whic the microsoft link takes me to a vista / 2008 installer but fails.
I've tried installing chrome and firefox neother of them seems to make this load different. Anyone know a way i can change the startin line so it forces this to run in chrome or firefox, as when i sttart this program i don't know if its still trying to use i.e. 8

SNMP info for physical drives on a DL360 G6 running Windows 2012 r2
I am running Windows 2012 r2 on a DL 360 G6. I am trying to get physical disk info from the plugged in hard drives but I am unable to attached. I am using PRTG. When I try to install a probe for SNMP HP Physical Disk it says no disks exist. When I walk the host with an snmp tester no physical disk info is logged in the output. I have the management agents installed and the WBEM agents installed as I can see the stuff in the HP Management page but I cannot get PRTG to see the physical drive info. it does see the fan info, cpu info, overall status info. I have a similary configured DL360 G6 running Win 2008 r2 and have no problems seeing physical disk info. i also try setting up ILO port and can see general info but no physical disk info.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Potential problems using same spare part and PN memory modules of different chip manufacturers
Hello,
I have four memory modules for my ProLiant DL20 Gen9: three of them made by SK/Hynix and one by Samsung (SEC). They have same Spare Part and P/N numbers wich are fits requirements written in QuickSpecs document.
Is it ok to use them side by side or better to change SEC module to another one made by Hynix?

One of the steps suggested to resolve is to connect via iLO (Out-Of-Bound), however when putting my laptop on the same subnet as the server's iLO they seem not to be communicating.
