366T card is showing degrading after insertion in DL380 Gen9
Hello .
We have facing one issue.
We have DL380 Gen9 server and we need to get on Ericsson sw level 1.12 So we required add new 366T adapter Card.
We had insert Adapter card successfully but we are geeting link down and status is showing Degraded.
So Please suggest me how we can get status of this card is up.

Problem with SPP one ml350 gen10
Hello,
i'm having a problem while trying to update firmware on HP server ml350gen10.
i've downloader the SPP iso (bp-Convenience-download-201809-0.iso) , made a bootable key with this it and plugged the key on the server.
When the server boot on the key, a screen with two choices appear "automatic" or "manual" appears, but whatever is choosen i get the same error message : "invalid magic number...you need to load kernel first."
The problem is that without an update ot the firmware the network card doesn't work.
Any help would appreciated.

Embedded Flash error gen9
Hello,
We have a WS460c gen9 blade. For a while it has been reporting the degraded status on the storage section. Intelligent Provisioning is not available and while we tried using a recover image for that, we kept on getting the error "error flashing NVRAM". Web Administration shows that Cache Module is degraded and on Diagnostics, it has the error "Controller firmware revision 2.10.00. Embedded media manager failed media attach".
We have tried NAND format from the Web administration and it was unsuccessful. Any suggestions as to how we can fix it? Is it safe to run the blade when it has an error like this? I have attached the error log herewith.

HP Proliant DL380 G7 Xeon ES649
Hello
I booted the Dl380 to see what was there. The DL380 was in storage for several years. The company needs to sell it but needs to remove company data. I am unable to vSphere client. Without altering the boot, iLo3, smartarraw, and VMware esxi what can I do to remove, delete company data?
At boot I see the HP screen with F11 and F9 available, then iLO3 loads (I do not know the username/password) then following with a screen smartarray p140i; the next screen is VMware esxi 5.1 loads successfully. Successful boot. I can use F2 to view or f12 to shutdown/reboot.
I would want to sell the Dl380 in a prestine working state. That is the objective however the data and the OS are of concern.

Ml310 G8 v2 freeze in boot process
Hello! Everybody.
I'm having one problem with my server ML310 G8 v2, The boot was normally, but since I'm trying to boot a USB imagem, the server freeze in boot process, more specificly in "Early PCI Initialization Complete", like appear in image below.
I already tried clear CMOS actving the interupter 6 on motherboard, but don't work.
I cleared the RAM conections, but still with problem.
Someone can help me, please?

Windows Server 2008 R2 won't boot after install on HP ProLiant BL460c G6
I created a bootable SmartStart USB drive, then I copied the retail Windows Server 2008 R2 iso to the root of the USB drive. I booted off the SmartStart USB drive and I was able to install Windows Server 2008 R2. Sadly, Windows won't boot. The blade tries to boot from the NIC. I even did a one time boot option and selected boot from internal HDD. Yet, the blade still won't boot.

I have two HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 servers (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2650 v4 @ 2.20GHz) that are our VMWare cluster. I need to upgrade the RAM from 128GB to 256GB. Is there an easy way I can get the current DIMM model number so I can order compatible DIMM modules? Was hoping to not have to remove the exisiting DIMMs in order to upgrade.

I m not a pro, I am just a Linux enthusiast, I got a ml370 g5 from "trash" , I fixed it, It's working, I just only need one fw, the bios FW SP73053.exe at :
but when I try to get it, a pop up window ask me for license, I don't have one, I don't get why, it's an obsole product...
I am using it at home, as NAS server and DLNA server...
someone can help me or have any idea how to obtain it?

Intelligent Provisioning and VLAN Tagging

does anyone have an idea or know how to configure VLAN tagging in Intelligent Provisioning?
I want to use IP firmware updates
However, VLAN tagging is configured on the swichtports and can not be changed ad hoc.
We use IP version 2.70b / DL380 Gen9

Smart Path and Smart Array caching
Its unclear to me if enabling Smart Path for an SSD array (RAID1) also implies that Controller caching for that array is disabled. This is what I want; I want all the controller cache to be used by the HDD RAID volumes.
Is there a way to set the caching options via ILOREST?
