I know that the latest supported version is "VMware ESXi 5.1.0 Update2 1483097 HP".
But I'm going to try installing "VMware ESXi 5.5 Installable HP Customized ISO Image" on DL180 G6 with HP P410/512 controller. Anybody done this? Are there any known isues or everything will work fine?

I have a ML350e Gen 8 Server with SBS2011, which has several drivers missing, I was advised to download and apply Spp2014.
I have downloaded SPP 2014 and created the DVD
I Launch Start.htm
I select the language
I'm them prompted to accept the eula then run \hp\softwarepackages\hpsum.bat
but I have fallen at the first hurdle and I can'tsee anywhere to accept the eula?
I have viewed the first startup page and all of the eula but nothing?

Hi there, I am wondering if there are any other fans or software related ways to significantly reduce server fan noise. Right now I have the 6 default fans that come with the machine. They are extremely loud and are running at about 35-40% speed.
I'm hoping for some quieter fans or something. I'm ovbiously not having ANY issues with system temp.

I have two Logical Drive (Logical Drive 1 - Mirroring (RAID 1) And (Logical Drive 2 - Distributed Data Guarding (RAID 5)
The logical Drive 1- Mirroring (RAID 1) Have two Physical Drives
The Logical Drive 2 Distributed Data Guarding (RAID 5 Have three Physical Drives
And There Are One Spare Drive Shared btween RAID 1 and Raid 5
The problem :
there are that the spare Drive FAil and have warining To replace it
I replace this drive with new one but the repulid for the Drive not start and Give Inactive
How Repulid the Hot Spare drive ?
I need to know if the HP part number 654540-001can be used in a proliant ml310egen8v2 server already configured with sata non-hot plug HDD. I want to adapt the part number 654540-001 to a SAS HDD 146GB 10K. Hp model : DG146BB976. Hp P/N : 430165-003. Firmware : HPDC. Part number: 9F6066-035. Can It be functionable ?.

Am I missing something or is the .iso?

I have a problem that SMH(System Management Homepage) doesn't appear NIC box in the system status box
Another system status box is appeared OK.
I don't know why it doesn't appear only NIC box
I've alredy installed SNMP & configuration.
I've checked SNMP Service startup type(auto)
Like the title says I have 4 DL380s in a cluster running VmWare. I want to install a decent graphics card for a virtual CAD workstation that will be accessed by only one user at a time.
Can I get a PCIx16 riser card, video card and install the card then alot the resources to a single virtual machine?
Has anyone done anything like this before?

i am trying to monitor a DL580 G5 using PRTG Network Monitor. So far everything is fine. I can monitor the server using SNMP Sensor "HP Proliant System State" and getting status of PSU, temperature etc.
But when it comes to the raid controller (P400) i am getting problems reading raid / drive / volume status. I already have installed WBEM provider (9.5.0.0) and management agent (9.40.12.0).
PRTG support says the required OID / OID branch 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.5.1.1.6.2 is missing.
Hope someone can help me out.

Both servers should share the common data on the storage. If one servers goes down, then the other server should take over it
Hi we have a Raid 5 (HP E200i) in our ML350 G5 Server (4x146GB) logigal drive C: is about 440.3 GB
The free space on the disk is getting low.
So is it possible to add a new drive not in the raid, only 1 more drive for unimportant data. and make it d:\
i read that the controller can handle up to 8 drives. But if you have a Raid, musst all drives be in this raid? Or can i have my existing Raid 5 with 4 drives. and additional 1 or more drives?

Because my ProLiant Dl380 G5 always shows an unknown device,even though i already installed your driver solution found on the Website.
I had 2 unknown devices before,after the installation of the driver package(which i obtained at the offical hp website of course) one of them was gone,but the other one still remains.
Here are the Hardware IDs listed in Windows: DEV:0x3302 VEN:0x103C

Hello, I have a failing P800 Controller in a Proliant DL320s G1 that I want to swap with a replacement. I have done some reading that replacing the controller shouldn't be an issue and that the array information is stored on the drives. I am just looking from confirmation that if I replace the controller with another P800, that I shouldn't lose any data just by swapping the controller.

hi i have an HP ProLiant ML310e Gen8 Server that tries to boot from an attached USB backup drive instead of it's local hard drive. the usb drive does not show up in the BIOS boot order options so i can't demote it, looks like it gets initialized later in the boot process
the USB drive is a new replacement for one that has died, the old one did not have this problem
it means the server can't restart itself after UPS shutdown as someone has to unplug the USB for it to boot
anyone come across this problem/ found a way to force it to boot from hard drive?

i can only find Windows 2008 R2 drivers
I have tried two different nc364T nics with the Windows 2008 R2 drivers installed on Windows 2012 R2 and even though they seem to connect, data doesn't flow, dont respond to ping, etc
have these nics been dropped?

I have the motherboard bundled E200 controller connected now and are thinking about extending the server with more drives via a P400 controller that i also have in my posession.
I also need an additional backplane and power for this new backplane i guess. How do i get power for this second backplane?
Can someone help me with steps to take to install additional P400 controller with cables, backplane etc. on an ML350 G5 or give other tips on how to attach at least two more sata disks to the server (shall be used as OS disks with Raid1) when the E200 controller already are full of storage disk.

I try to install Server 2012 R2 on a DL360G7...
It is running smoothly until Installing Updates and Finalizing the install...
At that point, the installation is exited with the error message;
"Setup cannot continue due to a corrupted installation file. Contact the vendor of your Windows installation disc or your system administrator for assistance."
I can use the iso for installation of Server 2012R2 on other systems, so I doubt the iso file is the problem.
Anyone seen this error before, and more important, any suggestions to get this os installed on the server.
