I need download latest Systems ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade SP38288.exe (5.0 MB) to support Xeon processor 3.4 GHz.
I don't know nor active warranty nor support agreement of this server to download ROMPaq.
Could you help me upgrade bios version?

No beep on DL360 Gen9 running Ubuntu
Hi,
Using Ubuntu Precise 12.04 on a DL360 Gen9 I can't get the internal buzzer to emit a beep.
I forced the loading of the pcspkr module, which happens without error. I then use the "beep" command but no sound is emitted.
The same software setup worked on DL360 gen8. I also tested the newer Ubuntu Xenial 16.04 with same results.
Any advice ? Was the internal buzzer removed on gen9 ?

Data Lost
My company has been using HP Server : DL 360 PROLIENT HP G5 RACK SERVER HAVING RAID 5 WITH 3 SAS HDD 72 GB EACH. FOR 6 years.. A few days ago we found that we cannot recover data from server RAID STATUS SHOWING NEED RECOVERY. Unfortunately our IT manager also lost the back up data as well.
I want to know if it is possible to recover data from these HDs. I shall be gratful if my company can be helped in any way.

Unfortunately I lose front I/O. Currently I am trying to trip the prongs on the motherboard to try and get it to post so I can give it to a friend. Smart HBA H241 not see HPE MSA 1040 Drives (screens)
Hi, I use:
2 x HPE ProLiant DL60 Gen9 (no internal disk) whith Smart HBA H241 controller
1 x HPE MSA 1040
At HPE MSA 1040 Storage, create RAID 10, than 2 x Volumse for OS install. I can see two hosts and I map that volumse to the them (read/write)
But, in HBA H241 setup options., I can not see any drivers.

Unable to replace failed disk in ML350G5
Hi!
I have RAID1+0 with four disks in it and now one of them is degraded (750 GB, bay 1). Unfortunately it's not possible to install the same disk as degraded one. So I've tried to replace the disk with another one with higher capacity (1TB). This disk must be compatible with e200i controller because it was part of another array in the past. But it doesn't start rebuilding, it doesn't recognize the new disk either when installed in first bay.
Array disks are seated in 1-4 bays. The fifth bay is taken by that disk I've tried to install. I'm also attaching ADU log.
So the questions are:
1) Why the rebuild process doesn't start?
2) What could be done to repair array without stopping the server (through ACU maybe)?

Is there an easy way to set-up email alerts on hard disk failures on DL-160?
I'm setting up DL-160, having 5 sas disks as raid-5(1-failover disk) and installing Windows Server 2012R2 on top (not installing any Vsphere). Could anyone guide on how do I set-up 'Alerts' to go to my work email address ? let's say in case if one of Sas disks fail ?

DL380 G8 - RHEL Event notifier
Good day all,
We have a Proliant DL380 G8 server installed with Oracel Enterprise Linux operating system installed on it.
I have been reading a lot on how we can setup a Event notifier to email us on status/failure of health regarding the server and all parts of the server.
I have uploaded a picture of the one we use, and I cannot find a similar software for Linux OS.
Can anyone please suggest some software or HPE applications which will be able to do the necessary for us on a linux based server please.

Prolaint Memory (seperate SKU between AMD & Intel)
I was looking into to moving some memory between two our systems. A ProLiant DL385P (AMD) and a ProLiant DL380p, both generation 8.
The DL385P was using 672633-B21

So the part numbers don't show up on each respectives quickspecs sheets. If I dig into the general HP Smart Memory quickspecs sheet.

Will there be unique part numbers for Intel and AMD supported HP ProLiant servers?
HP has different part numbers for AMD and Intel servers because there are slight timing differences in the memory controllers which can lead to different list of qualified parts.
Looking at the general memory specs it looks like it should work but apparently HP has differentiated here. Anyone have any experience with this (Good or Bad)?

One of our blade servers is dumping to dmesg the following messages every minute:

The server also has memory hynix 2GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600E-9-10-E0 (pn: 500209-061) - 4 modules, 8Gb total RAM. We bought 4 memory module 4 Gb - HP 4GB 2Rx4 PC3-10600R-9 Kit (pn 500658-b21) to return "old". At the moment, bought memory is not working or the server is able to start, but then starts beeping. I tried to install the 2 modules of the "old" memory module 2 and the "new" in the BIOS shows 12 GB, and in Windows Server 2012 writes: Only 12 GB of RAM available 4 GB.
Question - what do we do?
It turns out that the "old" memory without the support of the buffering and the new support

Мы купили память 4 модуля по 4 Gb - HP 4GB 2Rx4 PC3-10600R-9 Kit (pn 500658-b21) в замен "старой". Вопрос - что нам делать?
Получается что "старая" память без поддержки буферизации а новая с поддержкой

Disable Network ports alarming in iLO
We are running iLO 4 on DL380 G9's.. one of our servers activated a 4 port Ethernet Adapter card (331i) that has caused the links to go active, then into a "Link Down" state - which they are currently in. We don't use these ports and never have. Unsure why they acrtivated (not like this on any other server), but they cause our monitoring system (Sensu) to kick off alerts due to this. We are in the process of moving form GroundWorks to Sensu and had this disabled in GroundWorks, but I'd prefer not to bandaid this issue and fix it instead. These are not showing as up in Ubuntu (14.04) and are indeed showing Down.
Is there any way to fix this? Either remove from monitoring via iLO, put into an "Unknown" state, which should keep it from alerting (like the rest of our servers), or something else?
