ProLiant DL360 G3 Health Driver
I recently got an old ProLiant DL360 G3 (yes, its very old), and I am trying to figure out how to get the Health driver working on Linux. Mostly, I want to stop the fans from constantly running at full speed.
I am trying to figure out which version of the driver to use and what components are necessary for it to function. Does the latest version of hp-health support this old server, and if not, what version does? Also, are there any kernel modules that are required to use hp-health?

Extend Storage Space from current RAID array after replacing HDDs with bigger size
I have one server, HP DL360 G9 with the current RAID 6 array with: (RAID card P440ar)
- 01 x 1.2 TB 10k SAS drive
- 04 x 300 GB 10k SAS drive
Recent days, I replaced 04 1.2 TB 10k SAS drive for the 04 300GB drive. Now I want to extend the current logical volume of storage from the current RAID Array without re-configuring RAID array (because I want to keep the current state of system). I have no server which is available to make some test in BIOS utility because all servers are running for product environment. Can anyone help me to find out a solution or give me some guide for this case?

DL360 G5 and dl360 g6 ilo cd
Security has required us to update the ILO firmware on our DL360 g5 and DL360 g6 servers. I have been able to update some of the servers with the online update tool. But some of the servers the online update failed. Can someone tell me where I can find the ISO for the ilo firmware for the G5 and G6 servers? I foudn the G7 with no issues.

sas 10k 136g 사용중인데 gen9에 써도 되는지 알고 싶습니다.
power도 쓰고 싶으나 호환이 안되는 것같네요.

RAID 5에 하드3개에 하드 1개 추가설치문제입니다.
서버 모델명은 ProLiant DL360p 입니다.
운영체제는 CENTOS7이고요.
SMARTSTART CD를 이용해서 3개의 하드로 RAID 5 를 구성하고있습니다.
그러다 이번에 하드를 하나더 추가하려합니다. 가능한건지요???
가능하다면 어떠게하는지 궁금합니다.
SMARTSTART CD에서 ACU메뉴에서 하는거 같긴한대 설명부탁드립니다.

HP mL10 G6
In HP Insight diagonstis .
it shows the uncorrectable multiple errors(processor based numbering)-serial number slot 0 -Module -0
Isn't the problem in motherboard (or) Processor.
I have replaced the RAM and Check, ther same Error persists.
IS anyone come acrossed this issue.

E200i logical drive extend fails

DL580 G7 with PCI express passthrough
So a few weeks ago I started work on setting up a GPU passthrough lab machine, it's was running on a 7th gen dl580 using vmware ESXI 6.0 Update 2. I got everything working with two videocards, but the project scope was to get 5 or more VMs with dedicated videocards running, so I ordered a PCI-Express expansion board, it arrived and I installed it last night, now PCI Passthrough doesn't seem to work at all, even on the two working virtual machines. I checked and VT-D is still endabled, and so is virtualization support. So what is going on? has anyone run into this before when installing PCI Express IO expanders?
System so far:
CPU: 4x E7520
Memory: 88 GB (in 4 GB Sticks)
HDD: 2x 300 GB 10k SAS drives (PERC-i ?)

Question related to adding a new chassis to existing setup !
Existing Infra :> 2* c7000 Chassis
First Chassis:
5* BL680C G5, 1* BL460C G8, 2* BL460c G6
4* HP 4GB FC Passthrough module (Module 5,6,7,8)
4* Cisco Switch 3020 ( Module 1, 2 )
Output = 4*1GB
Second Chassis
5* BL680C G5, 1* BL460C G8, 2* BL460c G6
4* HP 4GB FC Passthrough module (Module 5,6,7,8)
4* Cisco Switch 3020 ( Module 1, 2 )
Output = 4*1GB
Now we need to expand this by adding another chassis – C7000, with Flex10/10D modules or Flex Fabrics. As I understand, Flex10 support SFP, whereas the older 3020 do not support it. So what is the solution to add this new chassis to older Infra ? Which cable to order, which connection etc ? (we are thinking about Active Active 10GB uplinks ) Attaching the relevant quote I got with 1GB transceivers.

ML310e Gen8 V2 - Does not start Intelligent provisioning
Hi there,
I have a new DL380p Gen8 Server and i try to install it,I have deleted the configuration exist with default from Intelligent Provisioning, and after i try to start that's Intelligent Provisioning but does not start after pressing F10.
The server permanently wants to boot from c: (no OS installed) and then starts PXE Boot.
When the PXE timed out I can press F10 for Intelligent Provisioning and the same sequence starts (loop...)
Please, help me if you have any idea?

Smart Storage Administrator doesn't detect array controllers Proliant ML10 gen9 (838124-425)
I have Proliant ML10 gen9 (838124-425) just from the box.
I prepared CD with Smart storage Administrtor to create RAID1 but it says "No controllers detected". Then I prepared USB using HP tool with SPP 04.2016 but says "2.822161J i8042: No controller found" and after that nothing is happening.
Please help me with it. I'm going crazy...

E200i Smart Array - Logical Drive Not Available

In a Proliant Server with E200i Smart Array I've only one Logical Drive with OS but It doesn't start.
When I push F8 to view Logical Drive I only see one message: Logical Driver RAID 1+0 68GB NOT AVAILABLE
What can I do?

Proliant ML330 adding 2nd disk to array b and create mirror
Hi, I have an Proliant ML330 G6 with Smart array P410 installed.
Bay 1 & 2 = 2 x 250 GB SATA = Array A and configured as Mirror. Running the OS Win 2008 Server.
Bay 3 = Array B and single disk (1TB SATA) and holding Data.
I have installed an extra disk in slot 4 (Identical disk as in bay3) and want this disk to be added to Array B and then create a mirror (for extra safety of my Data)
I ran the ACU-tool (Array Config Utility) and see the new added disk as "unassigned" (which seems OK at this point)

Bud running the wizard to add the "unassigned disk", I can only select Array A and NOT array B.
Why? Where do I make a mistake or is this not possible at all?

SAS HBA for DL380 G7 connecting to Dell Powervault TL2000
Hi
I have inherited a Dell Powervault TL2000 tape library and need to get it working with an existing HP DL380G7. Server OS is 2012.
After advice regarding what SAS HBA card to purchase for the DL 380 G7 to connect the two. The Dell documentation only recommends Dell SAS HBA's so trying to workout the best HP equivalent to see the library.. The library is a mini SAS connector.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ml150 Gen9 and Ml110 Gen9: Regarding GPU, HDD support
Hello this is my first post here. I'm planing to buy either the Ml150/Ml110 Gen9.
Following are the configurations I'm considering: 860119-S01 and 840667-S01
My use case requires using a GPU and I wanted to know if both of the above servers with their respective 900watt/550watt hot plug PSU's have spare 6 or 8 pin connectors for a GPU installation. I looked at the manual for both and did not find any clear indication of which spare power plugs are available on the PSUs on these units.
My second question is, these servers will be used in a small office, will they be pretty loud ? What size fans do they have and do they easily ramp up at medium loads? Does the bios have setting for fan curves?
Third question, since the E5-2600v4 series of processors is capable of mild overclocking, does the bios have any settings for overclocks?
Final quesiton, there is a chance that this server may have to be used as a work station (dual processor), as there are not many workstations in this price bracket with such good specs, is there any drawback to using this as a workstation?
