Hello everyboy, We buy this server wit 2 HD 1TB 8GB ram but I install and power on and No video en the monitor. I change the monitor cable, I have one converter from Display Port 1..2. to VGA (new), and nothing.

I own a HPE GEN9 ML110 server, such as Windows Server 2012 R2 installed serving Hypervisor function with Hyper-v and I have two virtual machines running. I need to provide more powerful graphics capabilities to these virtual machines so I need to install a video card that server. I need to find an alternative benefit cost for the plates that are approved by HPE to me and unfeasible cost because the value is up to 3 times the server.
those thought are these:
HP NVIDIA Quadro K2200 Graphics Accelerator J0G89A
HP NVIDIA Quadro K4200 Graphics Accelerator J0G90A
Does anyone have a better suggestion?
We have a ProLiant DL360 Gen9 with a Smart Array P440ar Controller containing 4 x 600GB 12G SAS 15K drives configured in to 1 logical drive using RAID 5. I have added a 5th drive of identical type the the first 4 and wish to use it to expand the size of the current RAID array. But I'm unable to find a way to do this using the HP Smart Storage Administrator.
Can you tell me if this is possible, and if so how it should be done.

Please give me advice how to solve the problem with client's SL390G7 2U LeftTray that can't start with pressed power button or from Ilo3 virtual power button.The action the same-start, front leds blinks (power led become green for a momment, hdd leds become blue-green-blue-amber-green, health led green for a momment) then faults back to off position (amber power led, health led is off). ILo3 web interface working rather normaly, but shows nothing helpfull-IML is empty, system information->summary->Subsystem devices shows for all (fans,temperature,power supplies) "Not installed".
I tried to start server from another tray of s6500 chassis (upper 2 trays or lower 2 trays Left side of chassis)-nothing new.Also i tried to start server in minimum configurtion ( one cpu1, 2 x 8GB RAM and personality board)-nothing new.Also i tried to replace CPUs in there sockets-no effect. Also i tried to replace Power Supply Units (4 quantity) at there places in the chassis-no effect.
The server is alone in the chassis and client don't have another chassis s6500 to test.
What may be the reason of this behavior-system board, personality board, power backplain of chassis or something else?
Would glad to heare any opinion.

I have an old Proliant DL360 G3 that I bought for testing linux and I can't get the server to boot/install any OS from any media (CD/DVD) except what was originally on it - Server 2003. The unit will boot from other CD's such as Hiren's Bootdisk and other bootable disks, just not any disk with an OS (Linux or Windows) other than 2003.
I have selected F9 and set the OS section to all the possible settings but it still don't see a bootable CD/DVD. Keep in mind I can take the CD/DVD and boot any other PC or server from it like I am going to install the OS and it works. Just not on the DL360.
What Am I missing here?

We have configured our system's iLO to use LDAP over 636 successfully. However, there is no place via the GUI to install our company's internal root CA for the iLO to trust the certificate presented by our domain controllers.
It seems as if iLO just trusts any certificate presented to it, which is bad.
How to make iLO only trust our private root CA certificate only for LDAPS authC communication?

i have HP DL380 G9 server, i am running VMware EXSI 6.0 on it, recently i installed HP HBA H241 12Gb SAS Card to connect to DELL MD3420 series Storage Array but i am unable to recognize any storage LUNS.
Can anyone, please, confirm whether SMPS of Proliant ML350G5 and G6 servers are available in India.
If not available, suggest a compatible one, please.

I've some promblem with booting on a new DL360 Gen9 server, and I want to generate crash dump using NMI.
However when using the "Generate NMI to System", iLO reply by "NMS sent to system" and raising a BIOS alarm but no files are generated.
Would you please advise about the report location, I"m using a windows system to access to iLO4?

I'm trying to install RHEL 7.2 on a DL360 G9. I've got an external NetApp E2760 dual-path cabled to a H241 SAS HBA. I need to zone LUNs on the E2760 to the HBA to get the host to see them, but I can't find the WWNs for the HBA ports to do this.
I've used SSA, Knoppix, tried to install RHEL on the M.2 SSDs (errors out), used Intelligent Provioning to try the install, so far no progress. I was hoping Linux cou;ld tell me, but not so far. I'm hoping Linux will at least install on the array, which is my real install target.
Is there any way to find the H241 WWNs so I can zone in the array LUNs?

we have recently replaced an ML350 G6 server (with its HP tower to rack mount kit) with an ML350 G9 server. we bought the tower to rack conversion kit (726567-B21) and fitted the kit to the body of the server, however although i am installing it in the same rack space as the original - the new rails are just that little bit shorter than the previous version, and are about 2cm too short to mount in my server rack. I cannot see any way of adjusting them to get round this, has anyone got any suggestions other than putting a shelf in place? The old rails are not the same fitting as the new ones, so i cannot use them. I want it to be safe if we have to pull it out for maintenance by a single engineer.
any thoughts anyone?? Any magic answers??

I have a DL580 G& Server using a P410 SAS Controller(windows 2003 ent server x64). I've been using this server for about 4 years and wanted to expand the diskspace. I added 3*600GB SAS disks and created an RAID5 with HP ProLiant Array Configuration Utility for Windows 64-bit. Which worked perfectly. Under Hardware Manager the Device is listed as HP LOGICAL VOLUME SCSI Disk Device. but I cannot find any drivers that work. All the drivers I've found were installed on the machine. What could the issue be?

I am seeking some best practice advice for best SAN configuration for a single MSA1040 12LFF and dual DL20 servers.
We have no option to use other servers due to limited rack depth, also cost is a factor for this specific AV application.
I was planning to use P441 smart arrays in the servers, and use the 1040 with dual 12G SAS controller, however my SAN experience is only with a single host, and I heard SAS may not be ideal for this.
Any advice on appropriate 1040 and DL20 controllers / connections would be gretly appreciated.

I need to update my enclosure c7000 with servers BL460c g8.
The question is: is there any other method to update my enclosure/blades i.e from OA EFM (Enclosure Firmware Management) or the two methods that is described in the the Service Pack for ProLiant Release Notes/Installation instructions
- Online mode - Runs on a Windows or Linux hosted operating system
- Offline mode - Server is booted to the ISO

A quick question, we have a Gen9 HP server with a P440 array controller, there are 5 disks present in the server, we build a RAID 10 with 4 disks, and one disk has remained as unassigned. In the case of a disk failure from the RAID , will the unassigned disk be used as spare are rebuild the data from the broken disk?
