Hi, i'm trying to install OS through a network interface. also i'm launching console and mounting the shape. Then i'm doing all steps, but finally i see the message "ReferenceError:Land is not defined busy.htm:343"
Installation was tested on different images of systems.
Maybe somebody faced with the problem and can help?
HP Proliant DL380 G7 running 600x6 2.7 TB drives in a RAID 5 config. During the Windows 2008 r2 64 bit install, It would show my Drive as 2 unallocated volumes off the same disk 0, 1st was about 2 TB and the remaining 700gb+ on the 2nd. I was not able to create a partition on this 2nd volume.

All other updates from PSP 2016.10 installed successfully.

We bought a pair of DL180 in october 2015. They worked perfectly until we installed HP 560SFP+ cards in the server. After this the fans went berzerk and stay between 50-60% constantly. We contacted support and they promised that this would be solved in a upcoming SPP. Now several SPP's later we still have this problem. It looks like it is related to "sea of drivers" and a new practice of punishing users with fan noise if they use non HP hardware. If I google the problem, I only get people with similar problems and no solution. Is this the new HP "Enterprise" way? Do they want us to move to other platforms?
Just wondering when/if HP is going to certify this server for ESXi 6.5. Any ideas?

Last month I upgraded a couple of gen-8 servers with SPP 2016.10.
I booted the ISO and did an automatic install.
After I updated a few servers I noticed that the Intelligent Platform Abstraction Data was downgraded.
Before the update Intelligent Platform Abstraction Data version 1.1 was installed and after the upgrade Intelligent Platform Abstraction Data 1.01 was installed.
Does anybody knows how the downgrade is possible and where is it used for?
I'm not sure what SPP version was installed before the update. It should be 2015.04 or 2015.10.

OS is FreeBSD v10.1 (and previous versions). . .have been working for 15 years+ on BIOS booting system. OS does boot under CMS legacy mode. Problem is ifconfig (FreeBSD command line utility)does NOT recognize and/or report the onboard NIC. All services that require ethernet interface will not/can not communicate via the NIC -- no DNS, NTP, SMTP/POP3, SSH, etc.
I have read from other HP web pages that this is because a "driver" is not installed. Well, Drivers are installed in the FreeBSD kernel, so where else should such a dirver be installed? AMI is no help . . ."not my problem, contact HP". HP is virtually impossible to contact.

When trying to do simple tasks like setting up the ILO DNSname or the ILO primary DNS server, the set-HPiLONetworkSetting command always returns Error: Line #5: syntax error near "ILO_NIC_AUTO_DELAY".
I am using the latest ILO cmdlets v1.4.0.1

In the end I tried to flash the ILO firmware, the version I had was 2.0 and it is now 2.5.
If I try again, I can see the ILO_NIC_AUTO_DELAY paramter and the cmdlet to configure the network settings works correctly.

Isn't it a bug with the cmdlet as there is no firmware prerequisite to use these cmdlets and they should be compatible with ILO 3 and 4 ?

I have inherited 4 DL380 G6 servers which I am using for dev/test purposes (old hardware but still working perfectly well). 3 have an iLO advanced licence installed but one hasn't. Since they were bought at the same time for the same project I'm pretty sure the 4th iLO Advanced licence would have bee purchased but wasn't applied. Is there any way to find out e.g. against the server serial number?

I have sent my client's HP proliant DL560 server for service to HP service center as it was restarting automatically. Before that I have removed HDD's on the server which had 2 RAID (mirror) disks. I have noted the HDD mounting order on the HDD itself. But now I am not confident that I have noticed the mounting sequence correctly. Today I am going to receive the server and re install it in my client's office. How can I identify the HDD mounting order manually before I fix it to the server ? Is that possible ? What if I swap the mounting order of HDD's ? Can anybody advise ?

we like to use a SE326M1 (probably DL180G6) 25bay SFF as a ZFS based storage server. We've bought an LSI 9211-8i, works well. Now, the backplain has two SAS ports, we thought we could use two LSI controllers running a multipath setup as we do that on SuperMicro Servers, but something goes wrong if both controllers access the disks. The controller init hangs (bios) and the LSI config tool can't read the SAS topology of the second controller. Are there experiences running multipath setups on HP hardware running none HP controller hardware?

I have Proliant ML110 Gen9. I want to used the server for database that is localized in the office but then i want to make it possible for client to log into the server through a link on my website. Now, Im supposed to use a live IP address and open some port for the client. How can i use the live IP address and Local IP address on it
