Question on HPE OneView 4.0. The service account that is pushed to all the iLOs (_HPOneViewMonitor): can that password be changed or maintained by the Admins in OV? Or is it secure & scrambled by OV? How secure or easy to crack is it?

Hi there forum, I really don't know where to ask this, so i'll just do it here.
So I have two PSUs for HP Proliant DL380 G7, both exactly the same:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/9qW7neHrE1Ibptn83
One of them doesn't want to fit in any of the two PSU slots. It just won't go all the way in (it won't snap). I compared them both carefully and nothing seems to be different or bent even the slightest. The one that doesn't "fit in" has this missing bronze thing, that I pointed out with red arrow on the picture linked above. Speaking of this bronze thing, I also want to know what is the purpose of it? Is it needed?
By the way, model of the PSU is: HSTNS-PL14 (460W)
Hi, Team
Memory upgrade planned for current DL380 Gen
If you know the Memory Part Number, ILO is not set
How to check the memory part number without shutdown in this state
Hello
Tell me where to find the mib file for monitoring ProLiant DL360 Gen10 ?
the only thing I can get:
[root@-zbx admin]# snmpwalk -c ovms1 -v2c ip_address
SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: Integrated Lights-Out 5 1.15 Aug 17 2017
SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.9.4.11
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (5031) 58 days, 21:18:41.31
SNMPv2-MIB::sysContact.0 = STRING:
SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: ILOCZJ74505XB.
SNMPv2-MIB::sysLocation.0 = STRING: OVMS-01
it is not enough!
It is necessary to control a lot of other parameters (temperature, speed of rotation of the cooler)
thank

Dear Sirs/Madams,
I have a customer who logged a case with HPE, because his cache module is failed according to iLO4.
However, HPE has been onsite at least twice now with a replacement p840 array controller, but each time the controller is replaced, it does not pickup the raid configuration from the disks (they have two luns)
The new array controller has been flashed with the latest firmware.
Its an important server, so downtime has to be kept to a minimum, and each time the controller has failed to be replaced, we have put the old controller back into the server, and then ofcourse the raid config is back again.
What can one do in this scenario?

Hi,
I am trying to write P05006_001_spp-2018.03.0-SPP2018030.2018_0226.84 to a USB Stick.
I am using HP USB Key Utility 2.1 on Windows 10.
I get an error "hpusbkey.exe has stopped working" (see screenshot below)
I tried with P03093_001_spp-Gen8.1-SPPGen81.4 and with 871795_001_spp-2017.04.0-SPP2017040.2017_0420.14 and they both worked perfectly from the same PC using the same copy of HP USB Key Utility.
I checked the MD5SUM of the 2018 ISO and it was fine.
Has anyone managed to successfully use HP USB Key Utility 2.1 to create a bootable USB Stick with the laetst SPP? (P05006_001_spp-2018.03.0-SPP2018030.2018_0226.84)
Is there anything else I could try?

Hi..
I having some issue with my HP ML 350 G6 Proliant server. The issue like the subject.
Post Error - Message : 1615-Power Supply Failure or Power Supply Unplugged in Bay 2
Post Error - Message : Power Supply Solution Not Fully Redundant
LED at Bay 1 green, at Bay 2 off. I've try to switch/swap AC cable, problem remain the same. Changing the cable with new one, problem remain the same.
And the, I swap/switch the PSU at Bay 2 with PSU at Bay 1. LED at Bay 2 is green and at Bay 1 remain off. Do the same with the cables, but problem remain the same.
Any idea to solve that issue?
P.S: Iam in Indonesia, and don't have a new part for replacement to check it's the PSU or other part is the causes.

Hello.

Anyone know where to find the visio stencil for the Proliant storage enclosures? I am looking for the D3610.
Thank you!
Please a need help I have a HP Proliant Server 360 Gen 9 and I need to add a new SAS hard disk drive and then I need to configure again with the array controller for the mirror 1 but the main problem is that this HP Proliant is running with another disk drive,I need to say I have one disk working and I have another new disk but I need to put this new disk with the mirror configuration,please could you help me,thanks very much I hope a answer
From Bios I have this configuration:
But when I press F10 to exit. It always warns me that the default boot is P410.
Once the system is running, I can access the SSD, without problems. Is there something wrong, or what can I do?
Antonio.
Got a recycled server from my university. It's functional, but they removed the hard drives before resale. I replaced one of the hard drives with a 1 TB SATA hot swap. I attempted to use the hp proliant ml150 g6 easy setup cd, but when I was in the final step I received an error:
"partitioning has failed unable to continue could not update disk mbr code"
I have not done anything else to the server apart from booting with the cd. Currently though, the server indicates that the hard drive that I replaced is in slot 8. However, this would normally be perceived as slot 1 in the hot swap rack.
Any information would be helpful, specifically why my system is failing in partition.
Hi, last week we bought a Proliant ML30 Gen9. We've got problems installing Server 2016 Essentials. At the end we reset the server to it defaults values and installed Windows Server without Intellingence Provisioning.
Now all it's ok, but I want to install the Service Pack for Proliant, because there are some devices with warnings. We've created a bootable usb but it fails.
I search the drivers in the web of hpe, but I don't know exactly what to download.
Can anybody help me how to install SPP or where I can download all the drivers?
Thanks
When I create a custom SPP and filter to a specific operating system (say VMware 6.5 for example) and I inherently excluding the ability to perform offline firmware updates. Or, in other words, are offline updates always included in a custom SPP build? Thank you, Brian.
Has anyone used the scripting capability in Intelligent Provisioning to make a backup of the operating system and then later use its scripting capability to restore it?
