I have followed the guide https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c05088241 and setup urlboot for a moonshot cartridge, however when I go to the UEFI Boot options or Boot Once the Url File entry is not shown. Is this feature not fully supported o the Moonshot or is there something missing from this doc?

Hi,
Does this motherboard also have traditional front panel connector pin outs (power button, leds etc.) to be used in a non-HP branded case?
Thanks
hponcfg ERROR: iLO User authentication failed
Trying to reset an iLO password. System is running RHEL 7.4 and I am logged on as root. Simply running hponcfg -w out gives the above error. I thought running hponcfg as root was supposed to bypass login? Any ideas? This is a DL560 G10 with hponcfg 5.4.0.

HP Proliant ML350p Gen8 max number of Media Bay Kits
General OS installation (manually)
I have both an ML350 G6 tower and DL320 G5p rackmount servers. I do not know how to install an OS manually on either of them. I have never used an HP server before, only Dell. I would like to install Ubuntu Server 18.04 or Windows Server 2016 but it ignores CDs and USB boot drives. I won't use SmartStart because it only allows older OSes. I've seen 2016 Server installed on the ML350 G6 before, but no explanation as to how.
HPE DL20 Gen10 - Storage Options
Dear community
I have some questions on the HPE DL20 Gen10 storage options:
1) There is the option to configure a modular smart array controller which does not occupy a PCIe slot such as E-208i-a SR or P408i-a SR. What happens if both PCIe slots on the riser are populated in addition to the modular smart array controller?
Intel E-2100 processors only have 16 PCIe lanes to the CPU which are already covered by both PCIe slots (each is x8 wired). Is one of the PCIe slots disabled if the modular smart array controller is in place, or is the controller connected via the C242 chipset (and not directly to CPU)?
2) There is the option to use a M.2 nvme ssd in the respective mainboard slot. The data sheet says that it is PCIE x2 wired, Is it connected directly to the CPU or connected via the C242 chipset?
Thanks for clarification

Getting "Logical Drive error IO fatal error" in RIS Event Log
Hi
After we changed 1 faulty harddrive in a raid (Smart Array P400 in ProLiant ML370 G5 ) we started getting "Logical Drive error IO fatal error" in RIS Event Log. I cannot find any more details, all physical drives are fine, no system status errors. at the same time I see disk warning event 153 in Windows System log.
Any ideas what might be the problem and how to sort it?
Thanks

HPE Fast Fault Tolerance Memory Configuration with ML 350 G10
I would like to use HPE Fast Fault Tolerance with a new ML350 G10 with DUAL Intel Xeon 3106 processors. Right now I have eight 16GB Dual Rank memory modules specified (four per processor). I have studied the Memory RAS Technologies document here,
https://psnow.ext.hpe.com/doc?id=4aa4-3490enw.pdf
It says, "There must be a minimum of two ranks on each populated channel. Furthermore, only HPE SmartMemory in x4 organization can be used. "
I don't know what "x4 organization" means. I also went to the memory configurator, but it only shows you how to populate the server memory with no consideration for fault tolerance.
Any help would be appreciated.

Disable network card using ilorest
Hi!
I'm trying to automate our physical servers installation process. I'm playing around with the ilorest tool and managed to get my machine's network interface status:
# /usr/sbin/ilorest list Name "PhysicalPorts/MacAddress" --selector=NetworkAdapter iLOrest : RESTful Interface Tool version 2.4 Copyright (c) 2014, 2019 Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name=HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331i Adapter - NIC PhysicalPorts= Status= State=Enabled PhysicalPorts= MacAddress=C4:34:AA:AA:AA:00 MacAddress=C4:34:AA:AA:AA:01 MacAddress=C4:34:AA:AA:AA:02 MacAddress=C4:34:AA:AA:AA:03
How can I enable/disable a network card or network interface using ilorest? I've seen some examples using the APIrest (coding in Python, for example) but I would like to avoid to code something from scratch when we already have a tool available.

DL360 G9 - unable to update BIOS, iLO communication errors
I have a DL360 Gen9 that is being a royal pain. Current primary ROM is 1.50, backup is 2.50. I cannot boot from 2.50 - when I try, it hangs at 24% and never finishes POST so that ROM is effectively useless. When I boot 1.50, it can't communicate with iLO (iLO FW Communication Issue - Unable to communicate with iLO FW) and I can't access iLO via the network (although it does seem to grab an address via DHCP...). When I try to update the firmware via RBSU or UEFI (fwupdate), I get an immediate red screen of death (x64 exception type 0d - general protection exception) with various firmware versions. If I try from within SPP or CentOS, it fails with "Unable to initialize the iLO Channel interface". I cannot get Windows to install - it either hangs while loading or gives me a red screen of death, depending on version. I've tried clearing NVRAM via system switches. I've tried reseating all RAM, removing all cards (HBA, NIC, etc), power cycles, etc. Any other ideas or things to try? Is there a way to wipe the backup ROM?
Booting from pcie m.2 ssd on ml30 g10
I'm wondering if I can manage to install an m.2 nvme card with a pcie adapter and boot from it on ml30 gen10.
For example using m.2:
-Samsung 970 EVO 2TB - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD (MZ-V7E2T0BW)
Or Sabrent 2TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance Solid State Drive (SB-ROCKET-2TB)
Using pcie adapters:
-EZDIY-FAB PCI Express M.2 NGFF PCI-E SSD to PCIe 3.0 x4 Host Adapter Card with Heatsink Cooler- Support M.2 PCIe (NVMe or AHCI) Type 22110,2280, 2260, 2242
