I have an HP ProLiant DL320e Gen8 Server that crashes every 72 hours, that is, the Network Administrator must go to the Rack, disconnect the power and turn the Server back on again.
The Server does not present alert on hard disks and power supplies.
Please, I have the help in how to make the diagnosis, causes of the failure and solution.

Will DL Gen 8 servers support Windows 2019 native provisioning via IP (intelligent provisioning). So far the current version which I have of IP on my Gen 8 boxes only goes to Server 2016
Is there an updated version of IP and if yes could someone mention the version number which would support Server 2019 native provisioning from ground zero start - bare metal just like IP supports Server 2016 today?

Today i download latest firmware version for DL580/380 G10 ILO firmware 1.43
but could not update the server , i did these steps :
1- download ilo5_143.fwpkg
2- Upload to iLO Repository
3- according to attach pic now it show in iLO Repository
4- according to attach pic ilo2 it has ben added to queue
now how can install that ? it is pending

I have downloaded the latest proliant service pack (2019.3.1) from the website and I am trying to boot off it to automatically update all firmware on new servers that we are setting up. When I create a bootable disk using Rufus the proliant service pack fails to load after trying to initial a ramdisk as it says it cannot find the disk. So what is the best way to make the proliant service pack bootable or app to do it with? I cannot use ILO as ILO is not licensed.
I am trying to deploy Windows Server 2019 Essentials using Intelligent provisioning but I have come across an issue where I cannot configure the OS partition size. If I go through all the prompts intelligent provisioning ends up deploying Windows Server 2019 with all of the the raid volumes storage allocated to the C drive. Is there a way to workaround this?
Here's my situation:
I have a ProLiant DL160 Gen9 running Server 2012 r2 that I use for a file server. The server is partitioned and has a Data partition where all my stuff is stored (D:Drive) and the OS is installed on the C:Drive. I am unable to do an in-place upgrade to Server 2016 (thanks Microsoft or HP...) so I will have to do the fresh install.
Can I do that with Intelligent Provisioning (2.71)? It seems when you do the manual configuration in IP, you can change the size of the partition, but it doesn't care about existing partitions, it seems it recognized the whole drive and does not recognize existing partitions. I REALLY don't want to have to restore all the data on this thing if I don't have to. I like IP because it installs all the drivers and stuff for everything, it's just a cleaner way to install the OS.
So...is there a way or do I have to bite the bullet, boot to the disk and do it the old fashioned way? Thanks...

Current configuration : 600x5 SAS on RAID6 ADG | 1 Drive Auto Spare
The Addition should not destroy the current RAID Configuration i.e. data.
Q. 1. Can I add the 1TB to the existing Volume without data loss? if so how can I do that?
Q. 2. If the above #1 is out of the option, how can I add my new 1TB SAS without data loss as a new Volume?
Appreciate if step by step answer could be given if it not too much to request.

Hi all,
I have a Proliant DL385 G7, suddenly no longer visible remotely;
the server is on without warning LEDs on, PSU led ok, FANs run at high speed,
no video output (blackscrren). I tried turning it off by long press the power button on front panel
but the server doesnt switch off, to turn it off I have removed the power cables from both PSUs
Restarted the server but it doesn't boot (no POST), I tried starting in minimal configuration
without PCI Riser Card and only 2 dimm's but the situation has not changed
On system board the ILO POST LED indicator are all off
I suspect it's a motherboard problem but the fact of not being able to turn it off with power button
is very strange (maybe problem with operating panel?)

I purchased new sever hp DL380 Gen10 when I am trying to enter in smart storage administrator (SSA version 3.40.3.0). On the next screen under smart array controllers " NO CONTROLLERS DETECTED" cannot create logical drives.
I am using the Smart Storage Administrator to create logical drivers.

Hi there,
I just bought a new SAS-HDD for my DL360 G7. Unfortunetelly it does not get shown in Windows Server 2016.
When I plug the HDD into the Array the LED flashes for a short while and shows that it is connected. The ILO-System overview also shows the HDD in the correct bay, so I assume it is pluged in correctly and accepted so far.
In Windows however, the HDD does not show up. The Servermanager does not recognize there is a new disk that may be installed, partitioned or used in any way. It is just not present.
Do I miss anything? Does the disk need to be initialized anywhere?
This is my Disk:
HP 600GB 10K SAS
HP Model: EG0600FCSPL
HP Part: 689287-003
Firmware: HPD0
I hope that helps. Is it possible, that this HDD is not compatible with my server? Where could I look that up? Any chance to get it running?
